===== Overview =====
This guide explains how to set up and use the MyFridgeonline Telegram bot to receive alerts.

===== How to Use =====

  - Install Telegram.
  - Add the bot to your contacts:
    * Search for **"mfol_bot"** using Telegram search.
    * Select the bot and add it to your contacts.
    * Press **Start** to begin interacting with the bot.
  - You can now send commands to the bot.

===== Registering to Receive Alerts =====

  - Send the command:
    <code>
    /register
    </code>
  - The bot will prompt you to enter your email address.
    * Enter the email used to register on the **Myfridgeonline platform**.
  - The bot will send an authorization email.
    * Click the **Verify** button in the email.
  - Registration is complete.
  - You will now receive alerts via Telegram.

===== Registering a Telegram Group to Receive Alerts =====

  - Add the bot to your Telegram group as a member.
  - Send the command in the group:
    <code>
    /register
    </code>
  - The bot will prompt for an email address.
    * Enter the email used on the **Myfridgeonline platform**.
  - An authorization email will be sent.
    * Click the **Verify** button.
  - The Telegram group is now registered to receive alerts.

===== Configuring Alert Groups =====

  - Registered Telegram accounts will appear in the **Contact** option box.
  - Add the desired contact to the alert table.
  - The selected contacts will now receive alerts.

  * Ensure the email used matches your Myfridgeonline account.
  * The bot must remain in the group to continue receiving alerts.
