RAK WiFi Setup

Follow these steps to configure the RAK router over Wi-Fi.

1. Power on the router and wait for the LED to pulse blue/green (about 30 seconds to 1 minute).
2. On your PC, go to available Wi-Fi networks.
3. Find and connect to the router's Wi-Fi network.

1. Once connected, open a web browser and go to: https://192.168.230.1/
2. You may see a “Connection Not Private” warning:
   1. Click Advanced

1. Click Proceed

1. On first connection, enter the password: MyFridgeRAK#1
2. When prompted, choose your region:
   1. South Africa
   2. EU868

1. On Amazon, register the router and download the certificates.
2. On the router:
   1. Set up Basics Station in LNS mode
   2. Upload and apply the certificates

1. Navigate to Network Settings > LAN
2. Set a new password (use the same password as in Step 3)
3. The router will restart

1. Ensure Wi-Fi access is secured
2. Confirm the router is communicating with Amazon

1. Record the updated device information in the location sheet
