Browan Setup On Loriot

Prerequisites

  1. The Browan router
  2. A pen
  3. Dot stickers
  4. Access to location sheet or someone with access to the location sheet
  5. Access to loriot portal or someone with access to the loriot portal

Follow the steps below to set up and register a Browan router.

1. Unboxing and Initial Setup

  1. Unbox the router.
  2. Make note of the password on the back of the router.
  3. Connect the Browan to power.

2. Connect to Router

  1. On your PC, go to available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Find and connect to the Browan router using the password from the back of the device.

3. Router Configuration

  1. Open a web browser and go to: https://192.168.1.1/
  2. Navigate to the Configuration tab.
  3. In the Protocol section:
    1. Set Server Address to: `eu4pro.loriot.io`
    2. Set Server Port Up to: `1780`
    3. Set Server Port Down to: `1780`
  4. Click Save Changes.

4. Register the Router on Loriot

  1. Log into [Loriot](https://www.loriot.io/)
  2. Register the router using its details.
  3. Verify that the router is communicating properly.

5. Gather Gateway Information

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard Overview tab.
  2. Copy the following:
    1. EUI – Add this to the location sheet
    2. MAC Address – Add this to the location sheet

6. Final Steps

  1. Repackage the router.
  2. Place the sticker on the top of the box.
  3. Write the current date on the sticker to indicate setup completion.
